Trip Overview
Cross Scotland from coast to coast through some of the most remote and beautiful landscape in Britain. Starting on the west coast, the route traverses the Scottish Highlands to finish on the east coast — a genuine coast-to-coast crossing that takes in mountains, glens, lochs, and ancient Caledonian forest. This is two days of serious Highland walking through terrain where you may not see another person all day. The remoteness is the draw — and the challenge. Navigation can be tricky, the terrain is rough, and the weather is unpredictable. But completing a coast-to-coast crossing of Scotland is an achievement that stays with you forever.
Who is this for?
An extreme two-day challenge for experienced mountain walkers. The remoteness and terrain require strong fitness, good kit, and mental resilience. This is wild Scotland — no escape routes, no phone signal, no shortcuts.

"This was my first time cycling with Adventure Cafe; first time riding from London to Paris and my first time riding this sort of distance over 3 days. Lots of preparation had gone into this from AC prior to departing London."
